| Description | In order to remain competitive as well as for other strategic reasons, companies operating in Nigeria are compelled to offer credit to their customers to boost sales. Increasingly however, customers are taking longer to pay and in some cases are not paying at all, with the result that accounts receivable now constitute a major proportion of most companies’ assets. This seminar addresses the key issues relating to the credit decision, and is designed to provide managers with tools and techniques to reduce the incidence of defaults on receivables and avoid the whirlpool of bad debts as well as speed up collection. |
