CaptionMaking Corporate Boards More Effective
DescriptionCorporate boards are faced with ever-increasing challenges, and are expected to fulfill a formidable mass of responsibilities in a limited amount of time. These challenges include enabling a group of independent directors to understand their company's business so that they can approve the company's strategy, monitor its performance, evaluate and compensate their chief executive officer, enhance the development of the next generation of top management, and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

Directors have to seek to improve and nurture their board's effectiveness. The effectiveness with which boards discharge their corporate and statutory responsibilities will substantially affect their performance. They also have to manage the responsibilities of their boards towards customers, suppliers, employees, regulatory bodies, and the general public. The power to improve the performance of corporate board resides almost exclusively within the boards themselves.
ProgrammeThe seminar concentrates on cutting-edge techniques, strategies, and action plans for improving board design, refining approaches, maximising individual contributions, and enhancing corporate governance.  You will acquire valuable strategies for strengthening board performance, as well as specific ideas for improving your personal contribution to your board.
