Q: I am an HND holder how can I apply for the Executive MBA programme?

A: With a HND qualification, you need a Post-Graduate Diploma from a recognized university in any discipline.

Q: I have a third-class degree, how can I apply for the Executive MBA programme?

A: With a third-class degree, you will have to obtain a Post Graduate Diploma to apply for the Executive MBA programme.

Q: I have a part-time degree, can I apply for the Executive MBA programme?

A: Yes

Q: What is a good GMAT score?

A: The GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) is a standardized exam used by business schools to assess how well students are likely to do in an MBA programme. The GMAT measures basic verbal, quantitative, and analytical writing skills. The GMAT is measured over 800, and we will consider scores above 500.  Visit www.mba.com to register for the GMAT and locate a test centre near you.

Q: Can I apply for the Executive MBA with only a professional qualification?

A: No, you need to get a Post-Graduate Diploma to enable you apply.

Q: I am a graduate of a non-business degree, can I apply for the Executive MBA programme?

A: Yes if you meet the other requirements.

Q: I have just about 4 years work experience; can I apply for the Executive MBA programme?

A: No, the minimum requirement is 5 years of relevant work experience by the time the programme starts. The quality of your work experience will also be assessed at an interview before an offer is made.  The average years of work experience in our EMBA classes has ranged from 9-11.

Q: Is it necessary to get my employer’s consent to do the Executive MBA?

A: Yes, we require your employer to make an explicit statement of support on the last page of the application form, because they would have to give you some time off work on Fridays to allow you participate in classes.

Q: Where can I get practice materials for the entrance exam?

A: Our entrance exam is similar to the GMAT; therefore you can use the GMAT preparatory materials.  We do not make our past questions available.

Q: Do I have to do both the GMAT and your entrance exams to apply for the Executive MBA programme?

A: Only one exam is necessary, but you may do both exams to improve your chances.

Q: I have not got my transcript from my school, can I submit my application form without it?

A: Yes, transcripts are usually sent directly to us from the schools, so you are advised to make a request for your transcript from your previous school, using the Transcript Request Form, after which you should not delay in sending in your application.

Q: How can I register for the entrance exam, and how much does it cost?

A: You will receive an invitation to the entrance exam when you submit your completed application form before the application deadline. There is no charge for the exam.

Q: I have a professional qualification and a Masters degree; can I apply for the Executive MBA?

A: Yes.
