Programme Overview and Dates
Our rapidly changing environment constantly creates new demands for people who own and manage business organisations. Business leaders usually see change as an opportunity for innovation and value creation rather than an obstacle to survival.
But to be able to carry out their innovative strategies they often feel the need to change the way they manage their people and their resources so as to respond quickly to the new challenges and to compete more effectively.
In response to this challenge, the Chief Executive Programme (CEP) organised by Lagos Business School (LBS) has been designed to equip the chief executive with knowledge, attitudes and resources to help them anticipate and deal with risks and opportunities, manage the process of change and give a competitive edge to their business.
And just as important, it helps you assess your strengths and weaknesses as a leader so that you can adapt your management style to the demands of the business environment.
Some major attractions in the CEP programme include the interactive sessions with distinguished CEOs and government dignitaries on contemporary issues, that will bring some more practical flavour to the programme. There is also the personality profiling to enhance understanding of personal and leadership styles, and a trip to Barcelona, Spain to continue the learning at the prestigious IESE Business School ranked among the best business schools in the world.
Dates for 2012: 9 May to 28 November
